This post will be brief but I really feel the need to say something.
Although I may have criticised some people's reaction to the proposed building of an Islamic Centre and mosque close to Ground Zero in an earlier post, Pastor Terry Jones and his 50 strong congregation are not representative of the general US population. They are bigots seeking publicity in spite of the possible repercussions for people both at home and abroad. Additionally, this non-event is proving to be a perfect propaganda tool for terrorists. Surely Jones' brilliantly conceived attempt at courting publicity has to be halted right away. Media outlets should refuse to report on this stunt any longer.
